Boy Scout Troop 1103's Homepage

Troop 1103 was founded, In November of 2003. Many Troop numbers were considered but 1103 was adopted as the 11 stands for the 11th month (November) and the 03 stands for the year (2003).

The Troop's founding adults came together in order to form a family friendly Boy Scout Troop.

A Boy Scout Troop where the Scout families are encouraged to participate in the outings and Scout Skills and merit badges were taught at the weekly meetings.

News of the new forming Boy Scout Troop spread and Eagle Scouts Brian A. , RJ A. and Tim G. signed on to help start the Troop.

Troop 1103 initially chartered with 9 Scouts and 3 Eagle Scouts in 2003.  Within 3 years the Troop reached an enrollment of 34 Scouts with 5 Eagle Scouts that have aged out and 2 Active Eagle Scouts.

 

Today the troop now has 19 active scouts with now 12 scouts that have earned the rank of Eagle. 

 

With 5 active Scoutmasters, the troop continues to value the Scout Oath, Law and the mission that Boy Scouts of America was founded on.
